QuickBooks Desktop 2018 Software Requirements
Many of us have "Fat Finger Syndrome" when using a keyboard which can cause dates to be incorrectly entered. To avoid entering a transaction in a closed period, QuickBooks has a Closing Date function in Edit - Preferences. Setting the closing date will prevent these errors but still allow for legitimate adjusting entries by authorized users.
